Being part of a global community

In short

Claire believes we're all connected. She sees the pandemic as a worldwide reset, hopes people return to nature and take ownership of their health, and believes modern medicine works best alongside natural approaches.

We're completely connected, whether we accept it or not.

Being part of a global community

Living the truth

This idea sat on the fringes of my belief system for years. It took a worldwide crisis for me to really live it.

A world-wide reset

When the pandemic hit, opinions split in every direction, and there were fifty shades of grey in between. Me, I sat in the middle ground, anchored by my spiritual beliefs. I believe whatever happens is meant to be. We'd been off kilter for a long time, disconnected from our higher selves and our natural selves, and the world needed to stop and reset its agenda. For a while it made us collectively reconsider our greed.

My hope

What I hope for is that people return to nature for their wellbeing and take more ownership of their health. That they take the time to understand their bodies, and truly consider everything they put in, on and around them.

We're all different

That time showed how differently each of us responds to the same illness. Our genes, our history and our immune systems are all unique. Even blood relatives can have completely different experiences. What works for one of us isn't guaranteed to work for anyone else.

Working together

Modern medicine absolutely has its place. I just believe it works best alongside natural approaches, not instead of them, and that people should feel free to explore everything that might help them. Imagine the results if we all worked together.

We are one

I am part of you, you are part of me, and we are part of everything. Our purpose is to evolve through experience, which I've written more about in my blog on Life's Purpose. Some of us are at the same stage and some aren't, but we're all in the same process.

I find it really helpful to remind myself, especially when someone has got under my skin or isn't getting my point, that we're all connected. It dials down the nasty feelings and turns up the loving ones, which brings acceptance. It's a much happier, less stressful place to come from.

Natural health all around you

Mother Nature surrounds us, even in the middle of cities; you just need to know what to look for. Using what you find is often super easy, like adding boiling water to make a tea or adding it to your cooking. In spring and summer there are flowers everywhere, and a lot of them you can eat. My blogs on wild food and foraging are a great place to start.
